Quinta Art Collective was born out of the shared desire of the five founders, for art and creating. Looking for a way to bring art work to an audience that understands the passion which goes into each and every piece created. The Collective is made up of five likeminded women with a desire to support and encourage each other whilst learning from one another and the wider art community in each respective discipline;

“With many years’ experience, we are a diverse group of artists with work ranging from fine art, portraits, Fibre art, sculpture and mixed media artwork. Our styles vary but our attitude is completely aligned. It is the fire in our bellies, the passion for our creations and the desire to delight with our work that drives our approach”

Art is subjective and being a collective with a diverse range of disciplines’ allows us to complement each other whilst catering to a range of styles”.

First and foremost we are friends, who happen to also be artists.

A little more about each of us:

Jessica Dunn

Jessica Dunn is a British artist living and working in the Algarve.

Born in London into a theatrical family, her journey as an artist began when her late father, performer, Clive Dunn, converted the attic of their family home into an art studio.

In the late 1980ґs her family relocated to the Algarve, where she paints full time in her atelier and holds an annual open studio exhibition.

A prolific painter, working in both acrylic and oils, Jessica’s work focuses on the abstract landscape. Full of light and contrast, her paintings reflect her passion for the beauty of her surroundings. There is a depth and richness in her work, that is both inviting and intriguing.

Jessica has exhibited throughout Portugal, the UK and Europe. Her participation in SIAC – the International Symposium of Contemporary Art, at the Guarda Museum, resulted in an invitation to return the following year and her work remains in the museum collection

Her paintings have been featured in Hello! magazine, Wall Street Journal, World of Interiors magazine, and can be found in private collections worldwide.

Toin Adams

Toin Adams, a renowned sculptress’s based in Portugal works worldwide.

Her work is generally monumental in scale. Materials used include steel, glass, stone, resin, glass reinforced concrete, light and water.

Her commercial commissions can be seen in the Conrad Hilton Algarve and Cabo Verde as well as private commissions worldwide.

Tracy Carson

Tracy Carson studied at Edinburgh College of Art and lived in Edinburgh for many years before relocating to the Algarve where she now works as portrait artist specialising in bespoke portrait commissions in various mediums.

She looks at an image, dissects and then reconfigures it like a jigsaw puzzle. Breaking it down into tonal pieces created by the negative and positive spaces surrounding the sitter.

Tracy works personally with each sitter,to capture their true self, that little spark that makes each art work truly unique.

Jane Preza

Jane is a fibre artist whose works are an attempt to portray the delicate interplay between the visible and the intangible. Using a mix of thread, texture, and pattern, her pieces invite viewers to explore the emotions, sensations, and beliefs that are felt but not easily articulated.

Each artwork serves as a metaphor for the hidden layers of our inner world, offering a visual journey into the spaces between what is seen and what is sensed.

Through her creations, Jane seeks to express the universal, yet often elusive, elements of human experience.
